SPELLCLIMB
About SpellClimb
SpellClimb is a spelling practice game. A word is spoken, and the climber types it letter by letter. Every answer moves the climb: through thirteen ranks, from Mite to Myth.
How it works
- An adult — a parent, a teacher, or a school — creates climbers. Children never create accounts and never log in.
- Each climber plays under a made-up gamertag. Real names never appear in the game.
- The game chooses every word itself, matched to what each climber is ready for. Nobody picks a word list.
- Parents and teachers see progress summaries for their own climbers and classes. There is no chat and no messaging.
Ways to play
- At home: a parent adds climbers and follows their growth from the family page.
- In class: a teacher adds a class, hands out join cards, and follows class and school progress.
- Just trying it: the start screen runs a taster on this device. Nothing is stored anywhere else.
Safety by design
- No real names, birthdates, photos, or voice recordings for climbers.
- No child logins, no chat, no contact between players.
- An adult grants consent before a climber's progress is stored, and can withdraw it and erase the record.
